PinkNic #Ros’eAllDay

As soon as I saw this event being promoted I knew I wanted to be apart of it. Pink and White Mandatory clothing along with great music and bottles and bottles of Ros’e. Faaabuloussss!

The Pinknic Festival was located at Governor’s Island in NYC..After you depart the ferry it is a good 10-15 min walk from the ferry to the event. We purchased VIP tickets but I don’t think it was really necessary. We arrived fashionably late due to train construction..and we were unable to get a blanket which was provided first come, first serve. However, we did find a tabletop for us to eat and drink on.We brought our own lunch but there were picnic baskets for you to order made by Chef Chris Santos of Vandal and Beauty and Essex. They had several bands that I have never heard of before such as Miami Horror and Tortured Soul and they really rocked the place out and set the vibe. There was cotton candy and Ice cream vendors too.. We kept ourselves busy by checking out booths advertising Bermuda and giving out free Pink Sunglasses. We were playing bean bag toss with the Vida Loca girls..

I will def get my tickets for next year and try to arrive early for a blanket! It would be great to get together with a group!

A lil Red White and Blue

Memorial Day was spent lounging by the pool. I never typically go away for this holiday. I shy away from the crowds and inflated prices. But it didn’t mean I didn’t represent my veterans..🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷 The Bikini Bra was a steal at $12.90. This is my first year getting swim wear from them and I’m presently surprised with how they look on(I was worried on the fit). The Quay shades were a lil pricey at $50 but I tried them on in the Nordstrom BP dept and fell in love!
